
Our History
The co-operative was formed because of a strong desire to improve the welfare of members towards a more decent life. With the best quality coffee produced by members, the co-operative seeks to improve the economic conditions of members.
Gayo Lauser Antara Cooperative wasfounded in 2015, and has 771 members,able to export Green Ready Export GR1 about 35 containers every season /year. All members are focusing on improving the farming production of the small farmers and increasing their yield.
The business field of the Gayo Lauser Antara cooperative includes the coffee trade produced by cooperative members who all work as coffee farmers with a total of 466 total farmers.The concept of organic farming will continue to be maintained and developed for the implementation of member coffee farming techniques.
The Gayo Lauser Antara Cooperative focuses its efforts on marketing their Fairtrade Organic coffees to garner higher prices that support the livelihoods of their members. We think their hard work and high-quality certified coffee deserves the attention!
